Sunday 2pm Update:
We will largely remain cold and dry through the extended. However we have two shots at a coating to an inch of snow to start the week.
Starting tonight a weak disturbance will bring scattered snow showers to our area, any steadier bands of snow may bring some isolated accumulations of a coating to an inch.
By Monday night another weak disturbance will bring more scattered snow showers to our area, again any steadier bands of snow will bring isolated accumulations of a coating to an inch.
The rest of the week looks cold and dry with highs between 30-35 and lows between 5-15 degrees.
The main weather story will be a developing ocean storm Friday PM into Saturday. All of our computer guidance shows a strong storm developing, the question will be the track and timing the intensity of this storm. Here are 3 potential tracks in the map below. Right now track 3 is the most likely bringing a near miss, track 2 would be a major nor'easter for CT, track 1 would bring a mix of rain and snow. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
