It seems that we've been talking about a pattern change to cold and snow since Thanksgiving week? After some extreme computer guidance volatility with this pattern over the past week, it finally seems as if we have a good handle on when we will actually see some cold and snow chances.
After Wednesday's rain will temperatures will remain mild through Thursday PM. A weak cold front will return temperatures back to normal for early December by Friday. Highs will range from 38-44 for Friday and the weekend.
With the cold air in place and plenty of energy in the atmosphere we will have the potential for a light to moderate snowstorm Sunday PM. We are about 96 hours out currently and our computer guidance isn't as reliable as normal currently therefore this is an extremely
low-confidence forecast. However, ingredients may be coming together for our first plowable snowfall especially in elevated areas just away from the Shoreline.

After Sunday's storm we turn seasonably cold to start next week with temperatures in the 30s to around 40 and lows in the teens and 20s.
Our next storm system by late next week will try to "cut" to our west however our NAO block will try to force it south of us. This storm system is still 8 days out and will have plenty of surprises with it. Behind that system it looks plenty cold and active leading up to Christmas.
