Memorial Day Weekend Outlook:

Memorial day weekend seems to be headed in the right direction as it is looking seasonable and mostly quiet weather wise. Warm temperatures for the weekend and clearer weather. Temperatures possibly from the mid 70's to mid 80's for different parts of the state. More updates to come for this weekend. Uncertainty between the European and the GFS model. European is much warmer with quiet weather, while the GFS is showing unsettled weather.

Weather Today:

Today looks mostly sunny with clouds moving in later in the day. Temperature highs will be within 70-75 degrees for the state. Cooler temps can be found closer to the shoreline. Lows for the day will be in the range of 57-60 degrees for the entire state. Northerly winds 5-10mph.

Friday Rain and Possible Thunderstorms:

Rain and Thunderstorms look possible on Friday. Temperature highs along the shore look to be in the los to mid 70's. While in Central and Northern CT, temperatures look to be around the mid to high 70's. Rain showers are to begin late Thursday night into Friday morning. Continuing in the afternoon with the possibility of thunderstorms and rain picking up from around 2pm to late Friday night. Timing is due to change, but rain looks likely.
