Light snow is expected overnight from Friday into Saturday, with accumulations ranging from a coating to two inches possible across the state. The snowfall is anticipated to conclude by Saturday morning; however, snow squalls may occur throughout the day due to an arctic cold front passing through the region. Additionally, there is a slight possibility that snow could persist into Saturday afternoon if an "Inverted Trough" develops, providing further enhancement.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to be notably cold, with wind chill factors becoming progressively colder throughout the day. Winds ranging from 30 to 45 mph will result in "feels like" temperatures remaining below zero throughout the day, potentially dropping to between 15 and 25 degrees below zero after sunset. By Sunday morning, around daybreak, actual temperatures will range from zero to 10 degrees below zero, with wind chills between 20 and 30 degrees below zero across much of the state.
