A day of wild trends is coming to an end, final verdict, much less snow and less disruption to everyday life..
Timeline -
3-5am - light rain and snow develop from southwest to north east
5-7am - snow starts to pick up in intensity with a few inches of slush accumulating especially in the south ct hills.
7am-1pm - periods of moderate snow with a few inches of accumulation for most, heavier banding may yield up to 6" of snow.
1pm-3pm - snow ends from west to east and the "clean up" begins. Isolated power outages are possible.
Hazards - slick travel under heaviest banding (not widespread) - isolated power outages
Accumulations
A general 1-3 north of 84 and 3-6 south of 84. Most see around 3" or so south unless the heavier banding sets up over your location, those locations may see upwards of 6".
Any deviation in the storm track to the south would cut down on accumulations..
Any deviation in the storm track to the north would increase accumulations.
