A developing quick hitting Nor'Easter will affect CT on Saturday, luckily the storm will be in and out in a matter of 8 hours. However, we will see some drastic weather swings Saturday morning.
Rain will quickly change to snow in the NW hills of CT where several inches of snow are possible.
Rain will change to snow in the Western half of CT between 9am and noon, first along the NY state border closer to noon around I-91.
Rain will change to snow in the Eastern half of CT after noon, last in the SE corner.
The snow will briefly be very heavy with rates of an inch per hour possibly creating slick roadways around midday.
