High Heat Today:
Expect high temperatures along with moderate levels of humidity throughout the state today. The shoreline will have temps in the range of 88-93 degrees. Inland temperatures will be in the range of 90-95 degrees. Today will be sunny with some clouds, the will be a slight chance of a shower or storm later this afternoon and tonight.

Back Door Cold Front:
Cold air likely tonight as a cold front will be pushing it in tonight. Models are beginning to agree that there will be a drastic drop in temperature tonight. Cold air will be pushing in from the North East. Temperatures dropping 20 degrees within about 2 hours of the from the high of the day. Lows for inland CT will be in the range of 53-57 degrees while on the shore temperatures will be in the range of 55-60 degrees. This cold air is a significant drop from the high of the day.

Tomorrow Rain and Temperature:
Tomorrow, rain likely in the late afternoon into the night. There is a chance of showers and storms before 8pm. From around 8pm to 2am the rain will begin to pick up and there is a chance for thunderstorms. After 2am there is a chance for more showers into the morning. Temperatures for tomorrow along the shore will be in the range of 62-66 degrees while inland temperatures will reach 68-73 degrees.

Friday Rain Chance:
PM rain Thursday ending Friday AM. Rain clearing and becoming partly sunny later in the day. Highs inland, 72-77 degrees. Highs along the shore, 70-75 degrees.
Weekend Forecast:
Saturday: Sunny, little to no cloud coverage. Highs Inland in the range of 72-77 while temps along the shore will remain in the range of 70-75 degrees.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, becoming mostly cloudy during the night. Highs inland in the range of 73-77 degrees while on the shore temperatures will be in the range of 71-76 degrees.
