We are currently working on a new extensive Winter Storm Archive that will cover all of Southern New England and the Tri-State area. Each storm listed will have snowfall maps for S. New England/Tri-state, a full animated radar loop of the event, an animated surface map for the northeast, daily surface weather for the U.S. and an upper level loop of the U.S.
Last year we released an archive of all snowfall maps for Connecticut for every event dating back to 1999. With this new archive we will expand our reach to include a much wider area. This archive is currently completed back to 2019. Which means we have six seasons done so far. Check back to our site as we will be updating the project on a weekly basis throughout the year.
If you're interested in the major 12"+ snowfall events dating back all the way to 1888, take a look at our Historic Storms page. This archive is also being worked on and new storms are being added continually. We recently added radar loops for some of the big events like the Blizzard of '96 and April Fools '97 that are exclusive to JDJ.
