Apr 13th 2026 - Feb 9th, 2017 Blizzard updated with new Lower Northeast maps, L Northeast contours maps and CT/SNE/Tri-State maps.

Apr 12th 2026 - The four nor'easters of March 2018 (1-3rd, 7-8th, 13-15th and 21-22nd) have all been updated with new snowfall maps and now include Lower Northeast and Lower Northeast contours only.

Apr 6th 2026 - NEW Lower Northeast Contours Only page for each season. Every season will be updated with Lower Northeast maps and have an additional link to view these maps with only the contours (no reports). Winter 25-26 is done so far.

Apr 2nd 2026 - Updated snowfall maps and added new Lower Northeast maps for the Jan 7th, 2016 blizzard.

Apr 1st 2026 - Added Mar 1-2nd, 2009 to the Historic Snowstorms archive as a 12"+ major storm. Updated maps for this event and added new Lower Northeast maps. Dec 26-27th, 2004 blizzard updated with new Lower Northeast maps.

Mar 31st 2026 - Updated snowfall maps and added new Lower Northeast maps for the Feb 10th, Feb 23-24th, Feb 25-27th, 2010 storms and the Jan 26th, 2011 blizzard.

Mar 26th 2026 - Updated snowfall maps and added new Lower Northeast maps for the Jan 26-27th, Feb 1-2nd and Feb 7-9th 2015 blizzard and snowstorms.

Mar 25th 2026 - Updated snowfall maps and added new Lower Northeast maps for the Christmas 2002 blizzard, Jan 3-4th, 2003 snowstorm and Feb 7th, 2003 snowstorm.

Mar 24th 2026 - Updated snowfall maps and added new Lower Northeast maps for the Dec 5-7th, 2003 and Jan 22-23rd, 2005 blizzards.

Mar 19th 2026 - Updated snowfall maps and added new Lower Northeast maps for the Blizzard of 2016, Oct 2011 early season snowstorm and Dec 23rd, 1997 interior snowstorm. Updated archive resource links page.

Mar 17th 2026 - Updated snowfall maps and added new Lower Northeast maps for the Dec 2009 blizzard, Jan 21-22, 2014 snowstorm and the Mar 2017 blizzard.

Mar 16th 2026 - Updated snowfall maps and added new Lower Northeast maps for the Blizzard of 96 and Feb 16-17th, 1996. Updated snowfall maps Feb 4th, 1995 snowstorm.

Mar 4th 2026 - Added snowfall maps for the February 20th, March 1st and March 3rd-4th light events in Snowfall Maps Archives and Winter 25-26 main page.

Mar 3rd 2026 - Added Feb 22-23rd, 2026 Blizzard to the WS Archive and Historic Snowstorms Archive. Added February 25th Light Snow Event to the WS Archive.

Mar 2nd 2026 - Season to date snowfall maps ending March 2nd added to Winter 25-26 Seasonal Snowfall page for CT/SNE/Tr-State/Lower Northeast. Lower Northeast seasonal snowfall progression animation updated.

Feb 26th, 2026 - Added Feb 22-23rd, 2026 Blizzard snowfall maps for all pages including Winter 25-26. Updated 25-26 Northeast season to date snowfall map animation to include Feb 16th and Feb 26th dates.

Feb 18th, 2026 - Added Feb 16th Tri-State Area snowfall map for the coastal storm. Updated Dec 30th 2000 and Mar 4-6th 2001 historic storms with new snowfall maps and new Lower Northeast maps.

Feb 11th, 2026 - Added Feb 6-7th, 2026 to the Winter Storm Archive and 25-26 main page. Added CT/SNE snowfall maps for the Feb 10th light snow & mixed precipitation event. New updated snowfall maps and Lower Northeast maps for Feb 11-12th, 2006 Blizzard.

Feb 5th, 2026 - April Fools 1997 Blizzard snowfall maps updated and include new Lower Northeast Map. March 2019 and December 2019 historic storms refreshed and updated with new Lower Northeast maps. All pages updated with these three storms.

Feb 3rd, 2026 - Feb 3rd, 2026 Season-To-Date snowfall maps added to the 25/26 page for CT/SNE/Tri-State and Lower Northeast. Northeast Seasonal map animation updated. This is the third update this season.

Jan 31st, 2026 - Jan 25-26th, 2026 major winter storm added to the Winter Storm Archive, Winter 25-26 page and Historic Snowstorms Archive.

Jan 29th, 2026 - Jan 21-22nd, 2026 storm added to the Winter Storm Archive and the Winter 25-26 page. Snowfall maps for the historic January 25-26th snowstorm added to the snowfall maps pages and Winter 25-26 page. Northeast seasonal snowfall to date animation updated ending Jan 28th.

Jan 25th, 2026 - Jan 17th, 2026 and Jan 18-19th, 2026 storms added to the Winter Storm Archive and the Winter 25-26 page.

Jan 22nd, 2026 - Snowfall maps added for the Jan 17th and Jan 18-19th 2026 snowstorms. Updated design to the Winter 2025-2026 page. New season to date snowfall maps added to the Winter 25-26 section ending January 20th. Northeast snowfall progression animation map updated to Jan 20th.

Jan 5th, 2026 - All snowfall maps for the Jan 1st, 2026 light snow/snow squall event added to the snowfall maps archive and 25-26 page. Winter Storm Archive updated to include Dec 25-26th, 2025 and Jan 1st, 2026 storms and added to Winter 25/26.

Dec 20th, 2025 - Second 3"+ winter storm of the 25-26 season added to Winter Storm Archive and Winter 25-26 page. 25-26 Snowfall maps pages updated to present. First round of "Season to Date" snowfall maps are up under the Seasonal Snowfall Archive and Winter 25-26 page.

Dec 11th, 2025 - Winter 1995-96 completed in the Winter Storm Archive. Southern New England, Tri-State and CT Snowfall maps archive updated for the 95-96 season. Feb, Mar and Apr 1996 storms added to the Historic Snowstorms Archive.

Dec 2nd, 2025 - Three more storms added to the 95-96 season in Winter Storm Archive. First 3"+ storm of the 25-26 season added to the WS Archive and Winter 25-26 page.

Nov 28th, 2025 - Five more storms added to the 95-96 season in Winter Storm Archive. Feb 11-12th, 1983 blizzard added to Historic Snowstorms Archive.

Nov 20th, 2025 - First five storms of the 95-96 season added to the Winter Storm Archive. Feb 8-9th and Feb 11th 1994 added to the Historic Snowstorms Archive.

Nov 13th, 2025 - Winter 1996-1997 completed and added to the Winter Storm Archive. Southern New England, Tri-State and CT Snowfall Maps Archives updated for the 96-97 season.

Nov 12th, 2025 - Redesigned landing page for Winter Storm Archive on desktop and mobile. General cosmetic improvements throughout the site. Added Dec 6 and Dec 7-8th 1996 to Historic Snowstorms page and updated April Fools 97 Blizzard snowfall maps.

Nov 6th, 2025 - Winter 1997-1998 completed and added to the Winter Storm Archive. CT, Southern New England and Tri-State snowfall maps updated for the 97-98 season. Dec 23rd, 1997 added to the Historic Storms Archive

Oct 23rd, 2025 - Winter 1999-2000 completed and added to the Winter Storm Archive. Jan 25th, 2000 added to the Historic Snowstorms Archive. Southern New England and Tri-State Area Snowfall Maps Archive updated for the 99-00 season.

Oct 19th, 2025 - Winter 2000-2001 completed and added to the Winter Storm Archive. Dec 2000, Feb 2001 and Mar 2001 historic storms updated with new snowfall maps and new radar and surface animations. Southern New England and Tri-State Area Snowfall Maps Archive updated for the 00-01 season.

Oct 14th, 2025 - Winter 2001-2002 completed and added to the Winter Storm Archive. Southern New England and Tri-State Area Snowfall Maps Archive updated for the 01-02 season.

Oct 8th, 2025 - Winter 2002-2003 completed and added to the Winter Storm Archive. Southern New England and Tri-State Area Snowfall Maps Archive updated for the 02-03 season. Dec 25-26th, 2002 and Jan 3-4th, 2003 storms added to the Historic Snowstorm Archive.

Oct 2nd, 2025 - Winter 2003-2004 completed and added to the Winter Storm Archive. Southern New England and Tri-State Area Snowfall Maps Archive updated for the 03-04 season.

Aug 14th, 2025 - Winter 2011-2012 added to the Winter Storm Archive. October 29-30th, 2011 snowstorm added to Historic Snowstorms page. S. New England and Tri-State Area Snowfall Maps Archive updated for the 11-12 season.

Aug 13th, 2025 - Winter 2012-2013 added to the Winter Storm Archive. March 7-8th, 2013 snowstorm added to Historic Snowstorms page. S. New England and Tri-State Area Snowfall Maps Archive updated for the 12-13 season.

Jul 30th, 2025 - Three new storms added to the Historic Snowstorm Archive, Jan 2-3rd, 2014, Jan 21-22nd, 2014 and Feb 13-14th, 2014. Winter 2013-2014 completed and added to the Winter Storm Archive. Southern New England & Tri-State Area Snowfall Maps Archive updated to include the 13-14 season.

Jul 17th, 2025 - Winter 2014-2015 is complete and added to the Winter Storm Archive. Southern New England & Tri-State Area Snowfall Maps Archive updated to include the 14-15 season.

Jul 10th, 2025 - Jan 26-27th, Feb 1-2nd, Feb 7-9th, Feb 14-15th from 2015 all uploaded to the Historic Snowstorm Archive. Winter 2014-2015 in progress for Winter Storm Archive. New "Jump To" buttons added for mobile for Winter Storm Archive.

Jul 3rd, 2025 - Winter 2015-2016 completed and added to Winter Storm Archive. New "Jump To" buttons added for desktop and mobile site for Winter Storm Archive to allow for quicker navigation through WS Archive. Also added a "Go To Top" button added at the bottom of WS Archive.

Jun 19th, 2025 - Jan, Feb, Mar storms added to Historic Storm Archive. Winter Storm Archive updated with the 2016-2017 season. New high resolution Tri-State Area maps everywhere that are 10% larger.

May 29th, 2025 - New storm, Mar 21-22, 2018, added to Historic Storm Archive. Winter Storm Archive updated with the 2018-2019 season.

May 21st, 2025 - Dark mode sitewide. Historic Storm Archive updated to include new snowfall maps, radar and tri-state area maps for every storm. Added Feb 2024 to Historic Storms.

May 14th, 2025 - Added storms Dec 2000, Feb 2003 and Feb 2006 to the Historic Storm Archive. All Historic storms updated to include radar and tri-state area maps up to 2010.

May 8th, 2025 - Historic Storm Archive updated with new Tri-State maps and radar loops for all events. Winter Storm Archive updated for the 2019-2020 season. Cosmetic enhancements across the site for desktop and mobile.

May 1st, 2025 - Winter Storm Archive updated to include winter 2020-2021.

April 14th, 2025 - NEW Winter Storm Archive page for all moderate (3"+) or higher events. This archive includes maps for S. New England and the Tri-State area, full radar loop and surface and H5 loops. Archive is completed back to winter 21-22.

March 30th, 2025 - Added storms Dec 2019, Mar 2019 and Mar 2018 to Historic Storms section.

March 14th, 2025 - Added storms Mar 2023, Jan 2022, Feb 2021, Dec 2020 to Historic Storms section, new unified color scheme for all maps, added Ice Storms for CT.
